Journaling is a way to help you "Tell Your Story". It's an opportunity to record memories and images of the past while allowing us to take charge of our lives. You will be able to see what has been done in the past, what is going on now, and project what is calling you in the future. Participants will learn how to use their journals to tell their story in a way that will leave a true footprint about whom they are and who they became during their lifetime. This workshop is designed for everyone. All that is required is an interest in journaling and openness to being honest with your thoughts and feelings.

Early February marks the celebration of the Celtic holiday of Imbolc, also known as Candlemas or St. Brigid's Day. It is the midpoint between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox and a time of renewal and emergence from the darkness and constrictions of winter. Awakening creativity through love and nurturing the fire of inspiration are the realm of this very special healing time.
We will explore ancient symbols and lore through music, storytelling, poetry, dance and art. Please wear comfortable clothing.

Creativity and the dynamics of the creative process have much in common with living a more faithful and attentive spiritual life. Lent approaches, and many of us consider what to do - what practices or disciplines, what actions or commitments - how to best respond to the call to turn, convert, renew, deepen. God invites us to consider our choice of stance in approaching every day. What can art and the way of the artist teach us about faith and the journey of the disciple? Spend time bending your ear to the Creator about the creative process, notice how Jesus embodied this, and sense the Spirit urging us to be artists and pray-ers in the ways we live. And let this time of reflection, prayer and sharing inform your Lenten journey.

Statistics indicate that if you reach the age of 60, you will probably live another 20 years. Still, knowing how long you may live does not satisfy what you still "long for" in life. With prayer, reflection, and some humor we will explore how we can cooperate with God's Spirit in making the next years of life time for fulfillment, healing, and peace as well as time for growing in the areas still need tending.
