Discovering How Prayer Lives in Our Responses to Music

In this experience, we interact with music pieces that serve us as carriers of the Spirit’s Presence. Our natural responses to these selections are explored through actions: painting, singing, writing, being silent, conversing and drawing. These moments will move us through creative praying to deepened contact with God.

Moving Out, Moving Up, Moving On:
Facing Challenges of Change In Faith

Change, whether personal or organizational can run from difficult to traumatic, even under the best of circumstances. Change, managed in faith, leads to new promises offered, realized and then shared with others.

Whether you are considering a change, in the midst of a change journey, a companion or helper for another or a change leader, join us, bring your stories, build your courage, help lessen the pain and increase our power to claim God’s gift of new perspectives, behaviors and attitudes from the change process managed in faith.

Care for the Care Giver:
A Day of Respite: Come Away Awhile,
Let Us Care For You.

This workshop will be repeated throughout the year.

If you are a caregiver, often you are considered the pillar of strength in your particular situation. We understand the cost of that strength and the burdens of putting yourself at the service of another: the lack of personal time, and the lost energy for other roles.

We want you to be well and will spend this “low key” morning for personal sharing, answer seeking, caring for and comforting one another. And we will explore emotions and issues about grief, anger, and guilt often connected to caregiving. We will pray about our situations and the situations of our loved ones, and offer spiritual support to help you to be the care that others need from you.
