Summer Retreats Offer Many Opportunites for
Inspiration, Reflection and Learning
By: Hope Rubin

Summer is a Time when the seeds we have planted in the spring come into full fruition. As we prepare for our summer retreat season, we invite you to learn about BSSC’s offerings. We also invite you to visit us and delight in the sacred space of our labyrinth, the peaceful winding walkways of our grounds, and the benches, walls and shaded places for quiet reflection found throughout the natural beauty surrounding our center. View the New Labyrinth Video

Nestled in a small grove of trees just to theLabyrinth Video left at the top of the driveway at the Spiritual Center is one of our most treasured gifts. The Bon Secours Labyrinth, a 1999 gift of the TKF foundation and our friends has provided a space for quiet reflection and prayer for more guests of Bon Secours than we are, literally, able to count. With a generous donation from the TKF foundation we have now been able to produce a DVD that we will use to introduce the labyrinth to new visitors.

I invite you to click on the link above or visit the Conference Services tab on our website, then select  the Labyrinth from the menu item.

We trust this will not only be an introduction for those new to this prayer and sacred space, but for those who regularly walk the labyrinth a way to enjoy, albeit virtually, the opportunity to understand again it's invitation to deeper knowledge and clearer vision.  We thank our partners at TKF and invite you to join us here at your need, for the “real thing,” a prayerful walk at the Bon Secours Labyrinth.

The $5 Dollar Fund

With the retreat season upon us we often receive requests for support from persons who cannot afford to pay for a retreat, but would benefit greatly from such an opportunity. If your budget allows, you can invest $5 or any amount possible to help us support persons who ask for our help to retreat at Bon Secours Spiritual Center. You may make your contribution at the Front Office or in the Book Store. In the name of those who will benefit from your generosity, please accept our thanks and a promise of their and our prayers for you in the Lord's name.

Care for the Care Giver: Join us for a Time of Respite

Care for the Care GiverCome away awhile, let us care for you! If you are a caregiver, often you are considered the pillar of strength in your particular situation. We understand the cost of that strength and the burdens of putting yourself at the service of another: the lack of personal time, and the lost energy for other roles. (Read More....)
