of peace, prayer, and tranquility
Bon Secours Spiritual Center is such a place.
     

Located just off Route 70 at the border of Howard and Carroll Counties in south central Maryland, Bon Secours Spiritual Center is easily accessible to the Baltimore/Washington Region. The Spiritual Center sits at the highest point of 313 acres of pastures and woodlands adjacent to Patapsco State Park and commands spectacular views of some of Maryland's most beautiful countryside. The center is fully air-conditioned with spacious and comfortable meeting rooms of various sizes as well as 70 individual overnight rooms with private bathrooms.

  

A sacred pause of a few hours or a few days can change your life. Retreat Services provides a variety of experiences including directed and guided retreats, days of prayer, workshops, seminars and other creative opportunities with gifted national and local presenters. Both individual and group spiritual direction may be arranged for those seeking to assist groups with planning in order to conduct a retreat at the spiritual center for their own members.

Place of Peace, Healing and Hope

Bon Secours Spiritual Center is a ministry of the Sisters of Bon Secours. Founded in 1824 the Sisters' mission is to be "good help" to those in need of physical and spiritual healing, and to provide compassionate care and concern for all people. Rooted in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, and part of the healing ministry of the Catholic Church, the Bon Secours Spiritual Center reaches out in prayer, liturgy, education and human encounter to serve all who come to us. The Mission of the Sisters of Bon Secours is rooted in their call from God and their mission from the Church to help bring people to wholeness, to alleviate human suffering, and to help bring others to a deeper awareness of their own spirituality.

I take this opportunity to inform you that
Ms. Linda McGinn has left the staff at the Spiritual Center.  We are grateful for Linda’s work with Bon Secours during the last eight years and for the service she provided to so many of our guest and groups during her tenure here. 

Going forward, Ms Rainey Taylor , Manager of Guest Relationships, will be assisting guests in meeting and conference planning.  Ms. Lynn Liebermann, Manager of Spiritual Development Programs, will assist individuals and groups in planning personal and group retreats and other spiritual development program activities.

Your inquiries for assistance are most welcome for any of our staff through the Center’s Front Office (410-442-3120).  Of course I will be glad to assist you in your retreat planning or other program needs as you require.  We all look forward to serving you and seeing you often at Bon Secours Spiritual Center.
