Located just off Route 70 at the border of Howard and Carroll Counties in south central Maryland, Bon Secours Spiritual Center is easily accessible to the Baltimore/Washington Region. The Spiritual Center sits at the highest point of 313 acres of pastures and woodlands adjacent to Patapsco State Park and commands spectacular views of some of Maryland's most beautiful countryside. The center is fully air-conditioned with spacious and comfortable meeting rooms of various sizes as well as 70 individual overnight rooms with private bathrooms.

A sacred pause of a few hours or a few days can change your life. Retreat Services provides a variety of experiences including directed and guided retreats, days of prayer, workshops, seminars and other creative opportunities with gifted national and local presenters. Both individual and group spiritual direction may be arranged for those seeking to assist groups with planning in order to conduct a retreat at the spiritual center for their own members.

In February of 1999, in cooperation with the TKF Foundation, the Bon Secours Labyrinth was dedicated, providing guests a place for quiet reflection and prayer. The Labyrinth is the focal point of a one-acre "sacred space" set aside as Holy Ground to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of Bon Secours in Paris.

Guests enjoy walking trails that wind throughout the property or finding a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. The pond, with its small island waterfalls, Japanese garden an footbridge is a center for contemplation and one of the most photographed spots on the campus. Guests are also welcome to use the large outdoor pool (in season),indoor fitness center, and the spiritual center's library. The Friends' bookstorefeatures an assortment of contemporary books, tapes, CDs and greeting cards, as well as a variety of signature items for sale as a remembrance of your visit with us.
